The studio is the heart of PetsDaily: you describe a picture, attach photos of your pet, and an AI paints it — a renaissance portrait, a Christmas card, a movie poster. This manual covers every part of the flow: the message box, templates, photos, the daily free quota, downloads, and what to do when something doesn't go as planned.
What you need
- 1 to 4 photos of your pet (JPG, PNG or WebP, each under 5 MB). One clear face-on shot is enough; more angles improve fur and eye detail.
- A sentence describing what you want — or a template that already contains the perfect sentence.
- About thirty seconds. No account needed to generate; a free Google sign-in only when you download.
The studio flow, step by step
- Open the studio on the homepage.
- Describe your wish in the message box: a scene, an outfit, an art style, a mood. "My cat as a renaissance general, oil painting, dramatic light" works. Keep it about your pet — requests involving people or unsafe content are filtered out automatically.
- Or skip writing entirely: pick a template from the row under the box. Each template carries a proven, professional-grade prompt — tap one and just add your twist.
- Attach photos with the paperclip. One is fine; up to four help the model nail fur patterns and eye color from different angles.
- Press Generate. The studio rewrites your words into a detailed artistic brief, then paints the picture — about thirty seconds, with progress messages to keep you company.
- Review the result. Not perfect? Regenerate for free — it's the fastest fix and uses one of your daily pictures only when a generation succeeds.
- Download your picture (free Google sign-in keeps it attached to you), or post it to the gallery to share it with other pet people — gallery posts are reviewed before going public.
- Can't find the picture you just made? The "Your pictures" strip at the top of the studio keeps your recent results — before and after signing in.
Writing wishes that paint better
Concrete beats abstract, always. Name the art style ("oil painting", "watercolor"), the scene ("by a fireplace", "in a garden"), and one mood word. Then stop — the studio expands your sentence into the full professional prompt itself. The free quota, plainly
You get 3 pictures a day, every day. Only successful generations count — failures and blocked requests are free. The counter resets daily, and it's shared between the studio and the avatar maker. If you want unlimited generations and watermark-free downloads, that's what Pro is for.
Troubleshooting
My request was blocked. The filter refuses requests involving people (especially children), violence, explicit content, celebrities and trademarks. Rephrase the wish to be only about your pet — the portraits are a pets-only studio by design.
Generation failed. The studio hiccupped under load. Failed attempts don't consume quota — press Generate again, usually with a clearer photo.
My photo was rejected. Check format (JPG/PNG/WebP) and size (under 5 MB per photo). iPhone HEIC files need converting first — emailing the photo to yourself as a JPG takes ten seconds.
The result doesn't look like my pet. This is almost always a photo issue, and it's fixable: see the photo mistakes guide, then regenerate.
Download is locked. Sign in with Google — it takes one click, keeps your pictures recoverable, and we never see your password.
